Carla Franck, PT, DPT, OCS, COMT, FAAOMPT

Dr. Frank provides input to the design and implementation of the study from a practicing physical therapist perspective.

Carla is a staff physical therapist employed at Kepros Physical Therapy and Performance, PC in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Since receiving her doctorate in physical therapy, she has completed an orthopedic residency program and fellowship in manual therapy.  It was during this time she extended her knowledge base in academia and research.   Her current professional interests include clinical teaching, progression of autonomy in the physical therapy profession, and pain science research.  Carla’s clinical population is often chronic pain and related disorders.  This correlates well to her focus in the FM-TIPS study at the University of Iowa.  She is assisting with application of TENS and pilot study protocol development.
