Dr. Sluka is a physical therapist with clinical experience, and a Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Science, within the Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa. She is also a member of the Neuroscience Institute and Pain Research Program at the University of Iowa.
Dr. Crofford is Wilson Family Chair in Medicine, Professor of Medicine and of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology, and Division Chief of the Division of Rheumatology & Immunology. Her research is focused on understanding inflammation, pain, and stress as mediators of rheumatic diseases.

Dr. Bayman is the study biostatistician contributing to design of the study and analysis of the data.
Ms. Costigan assists with development of the study protocol, procedures, and implementation.
Dr. Daily leads the Site Team to develop study procedures, procedures, and train clinic sites.
Ms. Ecklund leads the Regulatory team to maintain regulatory procedures related to the study including the Institutional Review Board approvals.
Dr. Frank provides input to the design and implementation of the study from a practicing physical therapist perspective.
Ms. Koepp assists with development of the study protocol, procedures, and implementation.
Ms. Neill-Hudson is a member of the Regulatory team and assists with maintaining regulatory procedures.
Ms. Johnson works with the site team to develop procedures and train sites in study procedures.
Mr Powers the study biostatistician contributing to design of the study and analysis of the data.
Mr. Huff leads the Data Management Team to develop the study collection data base and extraction of data from the electronic health records.
Mr. Nye Data Management Team to develop the study collection data base and extraction of data from the electronic health records.
Dr. Vance leads the Study Intervention team to select and implement TENS, as well as training sites in study procedures.
Dr. Zimmerman the study biostatistician contributing to design of the study and analysis of the data.
Study Sites
Twenty-four Physical Therapy clinics have committed to support and participate in the Fibromyalgia TENS in Physical Therapy Study (FM-TIPS). Sites provide clinical collaboration with recruitment, providing Physical Therapy, and teaching participants to perform the study-related activities.
